LISA CRILLEY Marriage & Family Therapist, Inc.

Individuals
Life experiences and relationships shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. When recurring patterns lead to distress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, or a sense of feeling stuck, therapy can help.
Using a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approach, we work together to understand the underlying emotional and relational patterns that may be contributing to your struggles. Greater self-understanding can lead to meaningful change, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are typically held weekly. Additional sessions may be available based on individual needs.
Couples
Many couples seek therapy because of difficulty communicating and underlying feelings that cannot be expressed. Couples who are experiencing emotional distance, sexual difficulties, power or control struggles, or other threats to their relationship can benefit from couples therapy. Couples therapy can deepen the understanding of you and your partner and improve communication while acknowledging the individuality that you both bring to the relationship.
Sessions are 50 minutes long held once a week but depending on need additional sessions can be made available.
Families
Family therapy helps bring to light what is currently not working while understanding and improving the way family members interact with each other and resolve conflicts together. You can learn new ways to interact and overcome old problems while deepening your connection to each other in a safe and supportive way. Families dealing with divorce, grief, crisis or blended families can learn ways to deal with confusing and painful feelings in a way that can strengthen the entire family and ease emotional suffering during these difficult times.
Sessions are 50 minutes long held once a week but depending on need additional sessions can be made available.

Adolescents/Teens and Parent Work
Adolescence is a period of tremendous growth, change, and challenge for both teens and their families. During this stage, young people are developing their identity, navigating relationships, and facing increasing academic and social pressures. Parents may notice changes in mood, behavior, school performance, family relationships, or concerns related to anxiety, depression, substance use, or self-esteem.
Therapy provides adolescents with a safe and supportive space to better understand themselves, work through current difficulties, and develop healthier ways of coping. Parent consultation can help caregivers better understand their child’s emotional world, strengthen communication, and navigate the challenges of parenting through each stage of development.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are typically held weekly. Additional sessions may be available based on individual needs.
